A mature person is one who does not think only in absolutes, who is able to be objective even when deeply stirred emotionally, who has learned that there is both good and bad in all people and in all things, and who walks humbly and deals charitably with the circumstances of life, knowing that in this world no one is all knowing and therefore all of us need both love and charity.

Have you ever met someone

And they’re so fucking perfect in every way.

And maybe they aren’t perfect to everybody, but to you they’re just absolutely amazing.

The way they laugh and smile and talk and think and look and just everything about them and everything they do just keeps amazing you.

Yeah. Then you find out that they are either cheating on you, or wanted to break up with you for a while and was actually waiting for you to break up with them. Love fucking sucks.

But have you ever met someone who was so beautifully imperfect that you would’ve just wanted to cherish all the beauty in it? As they were absolutely amazing just the way they were so imperfect.

An entire sea of water can’t sink a ship unless it gets inside the ship. Similarly, the negativity of the world can’t put you down unless you allow it to get inside you.
